TrashTalk ("we," "our," "us") operates the TrashTalk mobile app (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account and use TrashTalk, we collect:

• Account information: email address, username, and avatar image.
• Profile preferences: favorite teams, notification settings, and privacy settings you choose.
• Content you create: messages, reactions, and polls you post in game lobbies and private groups.
• Push notification token: a device identifier used to deliver game start and mention alerts.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active TrashTalk Pro subscription, managed through Apple and RevenueCat (we do not receive or store your payment card details).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate core features: game lobbies, private groups, chat, and notifications.
• To personalize your experience around the teams you follow.
• To moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To manage TrashTalk Pro subscription access.
• To communicate with you about your account or the App.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

3. Who We Share Information With

We share limited data with service providers who help us run the App:

• Supabase: hosts our database and authentication (stores account and content data).
• Apple / App Store and RevenueCat: process and manage subscription purchases.
• Expo: delivers push notifications to your device.

Other users of the App can see content you choose to post in public lobbies, and members of a private group can see content you post in that group, along with your username and avatar.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at the address below. We'll process deletion requests within a reasonable time.

5. Children's Privacy

TrashTalk is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

6. Security

We use industry standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

• You can edit or delete your profile information within the app.
• You can control notification preferences within the app.
• You can request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
