Terms of Service

Welcome to TrashTalk. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TrashTalk mobile app (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TrashTalk. By using the App, you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that happens under it. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. User Conduct

TrashTalk is built around competitive banter between sports fans, and a little trash talk is the point. That said, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or target another user based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• Post content that is illegal, obscene, or sexually exploitative, especially involving minors.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any team, league, or organization.
• Spam, scam, or attempt to defraud other users.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse engineer the App.

We use a mix of automated moderation and user reports to enforce these rules, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate them.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the messages, images, and other content you post ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant TrashTalk a license to display, store, and distribute it within the App as needed to operate the service. You're solely responsible for the content you post.

5. Lobbies and Private Groups

Game lobbies are tied to real sporting events and close approximately one hour after the game ends. Private groups are created and managed by users; group creators and moderators can set rules for their group, including muting or removing members.

6. TrashTalk Pro Subscription

TrashTalk Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the ability to create private groups and join groups via invite code. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings, under Apple ID then Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies. We're not able to issue refunds directly.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You can stop using the App and request account deletion at any time.

8. Disclaimers

TrashTalk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error free, or that game data and scores will always be accurate or timely.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrashTalk and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
